Her sincere interest in the details of my hearing loss and knowledge of different hearing aids gives me great confidence I have had many opportunities to get to know other audiologists. They have provided a range of competencies, some good, some less so. While that may not make me an expert, it does provide me with some background to evaluate my experiences with audiologists. Without reservation I can say that your professional expertise and caring manner are the best I have encountered. I felt very confident that you were providing an accurate hearing evaluation that took into account my lifestyle, hearing aid experience, and hearing expectations. I believe that patients that are new to hearing loss will be comforted by the practical and intelligent way you approach them. I’m very happy with my new hearing aids. I have been a patient here for several years and have always had excellent personal service through several different hearing devices. In January 2020 I purchased the Via AI devices by Starkey. These are absolutely amazing hearing aids powered by the Thrive Hearing Control App connected to an Apple iPhone platform. It has been seven months since I have been wearing these, and I am still learning more about the various functions. It is fairly challenging technically. Rachel is phenomenal and very patient! I have had several semi-urgent visits to figure out a problem and Rachel has always patiently walked me through a solution. Most notably at the height of the Covid-19 lockdown, she came out to my car in the pouring down rain with an umbrella, mask and gloves and fixed my problem through the car window. I said “Rachel, this is above and beyond the call of duty” She said “No, this is what I do”. And Shellene, (patient services coordinator) has got the most cheerful and calming phone voice whenever I have called with a new problem to be solved. These ladies are my Angels to Better Hearing!
